Undesa is an oleo-chemical company dedicated to the manufacture of fatty acids and their derived products, used as raw materials and additives in different sectors for the manufacture of plastics, rubber, building materials, detergents, cosmetics, paints, varnishes, resins, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, etc. Producing more than 100,000 tons per year, Undesa was the leading producer of fatty acids in Spain, the second largest in Italy (through its subsidiary Mirachem) and the fourth largest in Europe.

Undesa was sold in 2007 to the Italian company Snia S.p.A.
