It is specialized in the sale of high-quality coffee and bakery products in its establishments, with an attractive value for money proposal. The family business, founded in 1927, had more than 270 employees and managed 31 stores in the Barcelona area at the time of Corpfin´s entry.

The company developed an expansion plan in both the Barcelona area with the El Fornet brand and in Madrid with the El Horno brand.

Corpfin Capital sold its stake in El Fornet in November 2025.
