Restauravia Grupo Empresarial was established at the end of 2006 as a result of the merger between Restauravia Food (formerly Kenchic), the main restaurant operator of KFC in Spain, and Pastificio Service, a chain of Italian restaurants in the casual dining segment whose main brand is La Tagliatella. The transaction was led by Corpfin Capital and backed by the management team. In just four years La Tagliatella grew from 45 to 106 restaurants and KFC from 19 to 30 restaurants.

In early 2011, the company was sold to Amrest, a listed Polish company with more than 650 restaurants in Europe.
