Carlos Lavilla

Carlos is Corpfin Capital´s Chairman. He has 18 years of experience in the Private Equity industry. He began his career in Investment Banking in 1987 at the Spanish subsidiary of Citicorp Investment Bank. Later he joined Société Générale where he led the Structured Finance and Syndication Department until 1998, when he was appointed General Deputy Director, leading the capital markets, financing and advisory areas. In 2000 he joined Grupo Telefónica where he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Telefónica Media, Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Vía Digital, a pay TV subsidiary, and Group Controller. In 2004 he joined Corpfin Capital as a Partner where he was Managing Partner until 2018.
He chaired ASCRI (Asociación Española de Capital, Crecimiento e Inversión) from 2012-2014.
He holds a degree in Business Administration and Law from ICADE (E-3), Madrid.
